Inspired by the 1980s military TV commercials, Ursula joined the Army while still in high school. She wanted to Be All that She Could Be! Little did she know the path of servitude it would lead her on. She met her husband and decided to finish her enlistment and continued to serve by assisting other spouses while their husbands were deployed. Volunteering in her children's schools led her to be come a substitute teacher. She earned her teaching license and served as a school teacher for 7 years. Needing a change, she partnered with the Texas Workforce Commission and Workforce Solutions to educate employers on services and learn of their hiring needs. It was rewarding uniting jobs with people who needed them! Now, as a real estate agent, she continues to serve others by helping them find a place they can call HOME. This allows her to educate others on the processes of buying and selling their homes and her partnership with Homes For Heroes allows her to give back to others who serve their communities.
