Back for the first time since 2019, REALTOR® Day at the Capitol is the very foundation of the Association’s advocacy efforts. REALTOR® Day epitomizes the grassroots strength of the REALTOR® brand as thousands of Texas REALTORS® from across the state join together in Austin as one voice to meet with all 181 legislators based on their association's location.

Boarding for the bus to Austin, Texas will begin at 4:50 a.m. CST.

The bus will depart from CCAR to Austin, Texas NO LATER than 5:10 a.m. CST.

The departure from Austin, Texas will be discussed on the ride to Austin around 8:30 a.m. CST. 

Pricing

Contributions to the Texas REALTORS® Political Action Committee (TREPAC) and the Texas Association of REALTORS® Federal Political Action Committee (TAR FedPAC)—which makes contributions to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC)—are not tax deductible. Such contributions are voluntary and may be used for political purposes. The amount indicated is merely a guideline, and you may contribute more or less than the suggested amount. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal, and the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, Texas REALTORS®, and its local associations will not favor or disadvantage anyone because of the amount contributed. Until the RPAC annual goal is met, 70% of an individual’s contribution goes to TREPAC and may be used to support state and local candidates; the remaining 30% is sent to TAR FedPAC to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 52 U.S.C. 30116. After the RPAC annual goal is met, 100% of an individual’s contribution goes to TREPAC and may be used to support state and local candidates. You may contact the Texas REALTORS® political committee administrator at 800-873-9155 to obtain information about your contributions.

What to expect: 

Those who have registered and paid for the trip will meet at the CCAR Headquarters in Plano NO LATER than 4:45 a.m. and promptly leave at 5:00 a.m. Upon arriving in Austin by the 9:30 a.m. time required to participate, the day will kick off with a rally at the Texas Capitol, followed by legislator meetings, a barbecue lunch, and an open house at the Texas REALTORS® building. Members can expect a rewarding, invigorating, and fun day that will conclude around 8:00 p.m. in the CCAR Headquarters parking lot in Plano. 

In addition, Continuing Education hours will be earned on the bus to Austin, a happy hour will be provided on the trip back, and snacks will be provided on the way there and back.
